A few hints that your USB drive or any storage is infected:
- existence of autorun.inf
- unknown executable files that matches some of your Windows folders (documents.exe etc)
- randomly ASCII named executable files or files that can't be deleted (runauto..)

For your info, recently there is a new mac virus came with iLife 09 (BT version) for those who download BT version, make sure if you saw something weird message pop up to ask for your admin password, do not enter.I'm not sure about this, since i didn't try the BT version. I just got this news from some forum
