All new Apple hardware products carry a one-year international limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

The AppleCare Protection Plan extends the coverage on your Mac from one year to three years, accounting for any repairs done on your computer. Mac Pro and MacBook Pro customers may also be covered for one Apple display, provided that the Mac and display were purchased together. All repairs are performed by Apple-certified technicians using genuine Apple parts.

AppleCare Protection Plan is also available for the Apple iPods. Purchasing iPod AppleCare extends the warranty from one year to two years full coverage. It also extends phone support from one free phone call to two years of unlimited phone support.
